   That is clearly not a basement. Look at the real windows reflected in the mirrors and the natural lighting.

     This may be a walk out basement. And there would be windows and doors on the walk out side.

   I’m with Lily. This does not picture a basement. It might be an option for a basement, but then it should state that it’s an idea.

   Looks like a “walk-out” type basement to me where one wall is actually open with a view to the outside! Very popular in hilly areas here in Maine. Lovely idea! Thanks for sharing.

   Our house is like this. We have a walk-out basement where on one wall there are windows with natrual light coming in. The remaining walls have no windows. So this would look very nice in our basement.
